Pizza Time
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Tony's Pizza. All opinions are 100% mine.
Linda arrives home from Paris this evening, and she's just in time to help Claire and me eat the last frozen pizza in the house. Well, we actually devoured our final frozen pie Tuesday night, but I remembered I had recently received some coupons in the mail from Tony's Pizza to try the new Tony's Crispy Crust for free. So, after I dropped Claire off at school yesterday, I picked up my free Tony's Crispy Crust pizza. There are three varieties - cheese, pepperoni and supreme - and I went with the supreme style (despite running a scenario over and over in my head where I spend my entire evening trying to convince Claire the green peppers on the pizza are NOT jalapeno peppers and, therefore, will not hurt her lips).
Fast-forward to 6PM yesterday, and Claire and I are about to dive into our freshly baked Tony's pizza. Claire eyeballs the green peppers and looks up at me with a confused look on her face.
Me: They're not what you think.
Me: [picking up a green pepper] Here. Try it.
Anyway, we really enjoyed the crispy goodness of this new Tony's Pizza offering. We're thin crust people, and the crispier the better. It was the perfect meal for two, and I'm thinking it would make a great snack when our friend, Naiya, brings her Wii game stuff to our house in May for a marathon Wii bowling session (note: Claire recently learned how to bowl on Wii... and, like her Papa, is now addicted to all things Wii). And since Linda's flight gets in around 6PM tonite, we'll be having a late dinner. That's why I ran back to the store this morning and picked up a couple more Tony's Crispy Crust pizzas. They're tasty and a great value. And if you want a coupon, I've still got a few. Just drop me a comment or an email, and I'll send you a coupon for a FREE pie.

Claire: What?
Me: [pointing at her tiny slice of pizza] The little green things are not jalapenos.
Claire: [pointing at a green pepper] This is a jalapeno?
Me: No... it's a green pepper.
Claire: Oh... but I don't like jalapenos.
Me: I know. But those are green peppers. They won't hurt your lips.
Claire: But jalapenos hurt my lips.
Me: I know.
Claire looks at me with a blank look on her face.
Me: [pointing at a green pepper] This is a green pepper. Try it. It's very good!

Claire: [after chewing on the green pepper for a while] Heyyyyy, this isn't a jalapeno!
